Career goals/”Dream Job”:

My “Dream Job” would be to work in an NBA Front Office.

Work/internship experience:

Starting in high school, I began working for a college basketball team, Schoolcraft College. I then was fortunate enough to land an internship as an Operations Assistant with SAFE Management, which helps run Ford Field during Detroit Lions games and concerts. That same summer, I also worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief Actuary for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. From there I got involved with NorthPointe Christian Schools and also Cornerstone University, working with the basketball teams and helping run and manage sporting events on campus. These past two years, I have worked as a writer and talent evaluator for the Prep Hoops Network, running the Michigan branch of the site. While doing this, I worked as a Freelance Sports Reporter for FOX17-WXMI, mainly covering high school football in the West Michigan area. Starting in August, I have been working as a Graduate Assistant for the Central Michigan Men’s Basketball team.

Name your greatest achievement:

Graduating from college in 4 years; having built a ton of great relationships, spending time studying abroad, and built up a ton of unique work experiences.

What makes you different from others in your field?

I started getting experience in the professional field when I was a senior in high school. From there, I had a very diversified path to get to where I am today. I have worked everywhere from media, to event management to

several levels of basketball to running a sports website. I am willing to constantly learn new things and have a wealth of experience, despite being only 23 years old.

Other fun facts:

I was diagnosed with narcolepsy after my senior year of high school.

I got hit in the back by a pitch thrown by Justin Verlander when he was warming up in the outfield before a Tigers game

Favorite sports team/player/moment:

I was at the Detroit Tigers game in 2006 when they beat the New York Yankees to win the ALDS and advance to the next round of the playoffs. It was a moment I will never forget. It was the first time that they had won a playoff series in FOREVER!

I also love any Detroit sports team!
